What is humor? And what is funny? And why does one person think something is funny and the other one does not? We reunite 4 experts who will give us the answer: The Flemish-Moroccan stand-up comedian Latif Ait, singer-cabareteer Lennaert Maes, actor-director Peter Schoenaerts and stand-upcomedian and NT2-teacher Els Vertongen. In simple Dutch they bring stories, sketches, songs, stand-up comedy, visual humour, absurd theater and much more.
After the great successes of ‘Anything else’ with Andrea Croonenberghs) and ‘ being happy’ , as of 8 November Fast Forward brings a comedy production for Dutch speakers and other speakers. We unite 4 expets, that will create a variating show: singer- cabareteer Lennaert Maes ( known from the Bonski’s), actor-director Peter Schoenaerts, the Flemish-Moroccan stand-up comedian Latif Ait and stand-upcomedian and NT2-teacher Els Vertongen. In simple Dutch they bring stories, sketches, songs, stand-up comedy, visual humour, absurd theater…
In our regions iriony or stand-up comedy is very common, but that is not the case everywhere in the world. What is humor? And what is funny? And why does one person think something is funny and the other not?
There is nothing so serious as humor. That is why we devote an entire show to it. To let non-Dutch –speakeakers with a different cultural background get to know what is funny in Flanders and to get Flemish people meet humor of other parts of the world.
The audience gets, between laughters, a summary of all kinds of humor, and is put to think about what actually makes us laugh.Suited for native and non-native speakers!
