Noura Mint Seymali is a Mauritanian singer from the griot tradition, who combines her unique voice with a masterfull technique on the ardin; a 9-stringed harp only played by women. Allready at her 13 years she sang in the band of her famous stepmother Dimi Mint Abba and in 2004 she formed her own ensemble with husband and guitarist Jeiche Ould Chighaly.
