A School Called Tribe (ASCT) is a musical movement with varying occupation. It invites musicians, rappers and producers to collaborate in a creative process to bring a live mix between Jazz & Hip Hop. Under professional coaching an interaction is created between rappers, producers and a live band. The artistic result is a slightly unpredictable mix of jazz, hip hop and slam poetry grown from the musical and textual 'flavors' of all those involved.

The  hip-hop group from Ghent Uberdope has been aiming high for years with sleek live shows, delicious video clips and tasteful television passages. After it put itself on the map with the album 'Lelijk' from 2012, the Ghent trio came to a serious disruption in the summer of 2015 with the 'Niet te doen' EP. Since then, Uberdope has been working on a third album. Uberdope was formed in 2005, when three rappers from Ghent with a shared love of language, humor and hip-hop decided to join forces. In the three years that followed, the trio evolved into a promising name in the Belgian hip-hop environment. Here and there Uberdope songs appeared on various mixtapes and compilations, but a first release only came in 2009, when their debut album 'In De Huis' was released.
In the aftermath Uberdope was shown at various major festivals and in renowned venues (main stage Gentse Feesten, Handelsbeurs and AB). In the autumn of 2012 the second album 'Lelijk' appeared on label Fake Records. The singles were smoothly played on the radio and the video clips were often overwhelmingly viewed online. From the same period dates their tasted passages  in 'Iedereen Beroemd'.
Busy festival summers, a tour through the Netherlands and an ever-growing fanbase confirmed the breakthrough in every possible way. It led to a record deal at Sony Music Belgium, where they released their EP 'Niet te doen' in 2015. Creative disagreements caused a break with Sony in 2016, after which Uberdope returned home to Fake Records. The following years were dominated by their comeback album, which will be produced by the Compact Disk Dummies. This (third) record must definitively established them in the gallery of Belgian music. A first single will soon be heard, but for the release of the entire album it is waiting until autumn 2018.
