Szabadsag (pronounce "sa-bad-chag") means freedom in Hungarian. Based in Brussels, Belgium, this duet features Ariane Cohen-Adad (violin, viola, vocals) and Jefferson Louvat (mandolin, mandola, mandoloncello). Together they play traditionnal music from the Yiddish/klezmer and bluegrass repertoire as well as their own compositions. These two musicians take the listener on a wonderful romp through a variety of grooves and melodies that surprise and delight at each turn. For the occasion, the duo will be assisted by percussionist Stephan Pougin (known for his work with the Rêve d'Eléphant Orchestra).
