Some bands want to conquer the world by force and some bands develop in the lee (!) to release their treasures at exactly the right time. Slow Lee clearly belongs to the second category. Originally from Bruges, Slow Lee deals in the genre that you will find in the better record stores under 'slow alt pop/rock/americana'. Sparsely constructed songs, in beautiful harmonious arrangements, that are sometimes reminiscent of Amos Lee and then again rub up against the high-pitches of Jeff Buckley. Slow Lee breathes one hundred percent authenticity, but with a very big wink to the American colleagues.
