RENAUD DARDENNE TRIO & OSVALDO HERNANDEZ ♡ HEARTBEAT SESSION

Guitarist Renaud Dardenne is well known the Belgian jazz manouche scene. We saw him at work with Tcha Limberger in 'Les Violons de Bruxelles', in Fapy Lafertin's 'New Quartet', with Liana Gourdjia in a slightly more classical setting, but also in projects with different styles such as rembetiko, chorinho or music from Venezuela. . His trio takes you on a journey through Dardenne's own musical universe, created and colored by the passionate way in which he experiences music. He draws inspiration for this from Latin American music on the one hand and from Django Reinhardt on the other. The repertoire consists of own work and reworks of traditionals with plenty of room for improvisation.

He is assisted by the guitarist and musical chameleon Benjamin Clement and double bass player Boris Schmidt. Special guest is the Mexican persussionist Osvaldo Hernandez.
