Picking Combo

Join us in celebrating 10 years of Picking Combo with an explosive mix of original compositions and unforgettable classics from Cumbia, Cuban Son, Brazilian, and Cape Verdean music! This unique duo, comprised of Yannis Landrin (France) and Stephen Scharmin (Belgium), will take you on a musical journey through Latin America.  Especially for the occasion, the duo will celebrate their birthday together with the Cuban multi-instrumentalist and composer Zulema Hechavarria Blanco. Be sure to also check out her own big band, for which she composes with the ladies of Zulemax.  Get ready for a dynamic show filled with Son, Salsa, Cumbia, and 1970s pop music, with a strong nod to Rio, Havana, and Barranquilla.
