OYALI YAZMA *

Oyalı Yazma is a project from the Turkish singers Mercan Erzincan, Buse Katılmış and Devrim Kaya, with traditional songs from the South East of Turkey. The predominantly male tradition of congregations from Turkish cities such as Urfa, Elazığ, Diyarbakır and Kerkük (Iraq) is interpreted in a convincing and feminine way by these ladies.
