End of the Weak Belgium is part of the international EOW MC competition in which one looks for an MC that is not only substantively and technically very strong, but can also take on an audience and can say something meaningful about everyday topics and  objects. Based on 5 disciplines (Written text, A-capella, Freestyle Bag, Mc versus Dj and Cypher) the MCs are challenged in different areas and the most complete MC is chosen.
The competition originated in the USA in 2000. When France and England also participate successfully in 2004, many countries will join and EOW will expand into an international family of around 16 countries: Germany, Spain, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands , Switzerland, Italy, Canada, Uganda, South Africa and Belgium. Countries such as Brazil, Madagascar, Argentina, Togo / Benin and the Philippines also participated, but the development of the competition is rather difficult there. After the geographical spread, it was time to challenge each other and organize a World Cup. In 2006 the first World Cup was organized in Spain and Arteek from France was crowned the first world champion.

UAF - Urban Art Festival
With this 7th edition of UAF, Rhythm Naturals and De Centrale are  bringing you again a a varied youth program. The program includes concerts, a number of cross-over dance creations, the Flemish pre-selections of the international End Of the Weak Belgium MC battle, BOTY - BeatBox Battle Of The Year, workshops and some presentations of cultural entrepreneurship.
Top of the bill is the final of the MNM Urbanice Battle Of Talents on Saturday 04 May.
The 10 finalists show the best of themselves at UAF during a live broadcast of MNM Urbanice from De Centrale.
