Mathias invites Sandip Banerjee

On Tuesday, June 24, guitarist and composer Mathias Van de Wiele presents the final concert in a series of four at ENTR, each featuring a unique musical guest. For this special closing edition, he is joined by the renowned tabla virtuoso, Sandip Banerjee.

Sandip Banerjee has mastered the art of tabla since 1973, captivating global audiences with his graceful accompaniment and powerful solo performances.  He is a regular contributor to television- and radioprograms in India and frequently tours internationally for performances, lectures, and workshops. With a rich discography featuring collaborations with distinguished artists, Sandip's unmatched skill, honed under legendary masters like Pandit Kanai Dutta, Pandit Sanjoy Mukherjee, and Pandit Sankha Chatterjee, places him among the top tabla artists of his generation.

Mathias Van de Wiele, known for his work with Moker, Wheels, and the Yelemani Trio, has built a rich career in the Belgian and international music scene. As a musician and artistic director, he consistently creates surprising musical collaborations.
