Les Doigts de L'Homme // 25 year Djangofolllies

Gipsy, Jazz, Rock, Manouche

From the streets of Brittany to the biggest European festival, from improvised jam sessions to perfectly orchestrated show. In fifteen years Les doigt de l’homme has come a long way, and what a way!!
Since their first album ‘ Dans le monde’ they consequently developed their own sound. Without eye cups and open to all kinds of influences. In their work you find traces of gipsy jazz, gipsy rock, celtic music, flamenco, French chanson and even classical music. And it always stays airy, swinging and with lots of humor. You recognize them from the first notes. They build up an own, original repertoire, with which they scored internationally. Something exceptional for a French group. That th’Les doigt de l’homme is acoustically very good, explains a lot though.
A percussionist now  joins the original string quartet, and in this new line-up they take the intimacy of the theater closer to their audience. With old songs in a new dress, richer, more enthusiastic, they will give everything. The fun of playing splashes of the stage anyhow.
An exotic journey where the listener is alternately touched by melancholy, nonchalance and daydreaming.
