n her own interpretation of pieces from the popular repertoire of Northern Morocco, the singer Laila Amezian has surrounded herself with seven singers and five musicians from the jazz and world scene, and presents us her very own arrangement in various voices on daring jazz. arrangements and a smashing chaabi groove!

The Al-Karavan project travels between Brussels and Ghent and settles in De Centrale for a weekend. We present two exceptional musical productions, built around four musical styles. From January to June a series of meetings took place between on the one hand a choir and a classical quartet and on the other hand between eight singers and some musicians from the Belgian jazz and world music scene. The result is a festive double bill that pays tribute to the first generation of Moroccan migrants in Belgium. So come and enjoy the fruits of these fascinating encounters.
