Invite yourself to the 'unofficial' opening of Istanbul Ekspres! Ibıdıklar has been captivating stages in Ghent and far beyond for over three generations. Since the late 1960s, they have been an indispensable part of Turkish family celebrations and are even recognized in Ghent as important guardians of the intangible heritage of the Turkish Abdals.

Today, with the third generation at the helm, Ibıdıklar remains true to its roots. They continue to bring their vibrant music to weddings and occasionally to (world) music stages and festivals. Tonight, music lovers at ENTR will have the chance to experience their pure Turkish roots music, where the rich sounds of Central Anatolia merge with the musical traditions of the Turkish Abdals, on the eve of Istanbul Ekspres.
