FIDDLERS ON THE MOVE - A FOLK VIOLIN PROJECT

SZABADSAG

Szabadság consists of the French-Sephardic violinist Ariane Cohen-Adad and the Belgian-Hungarian mandolin player Jefferson Louvat. They mix Klezmer with music from the Balkan, Bluegrass and Irish folk but honor the tradition and soul of these genres in a beautiful way.

MONTANARO & DROUHIN

Their musical world is almost impossible to classify. It looks like a laboratory that experiments with melodies that are inspired by different musical traditions. Masterfully performed by Baltazar Montanaro on baritone violin in confrontation and symbiosis with the machines and electronics of Simon Drouhin.
