FATMA TURGUT (MODEL)

Fatma Turgut was already our guest twice in De Centrale as lead singer of the popular Turkish pop group MODEL. The first time in 2012 and a year later on Istanbul Ekspress. With MODEL she scored a few absolute top hits, of which 'Degmesin Ellerimiz' is the most famous. Since recently she also performs under her own name FATMA TURGUT.  This lady is not afraid of musical adventures and experiments. That way she recently cooperated with the Turkish hardcore metal group YOU MAY KISS THE BRIDE (who knows we will see her on Graspop soon?)

For her third passage in De Centrale she is being accompanied by some of her musical companions at MODEL supplemented with a few musicians of SERTAB ERENER.  Who has not seen this dynamic lady at work, is offered a new chance. Contagious Turkish pop full of recognizable musical flashbacks from the heartland of Anatolia…

With MODEL Fatma Turgut released 3albums ‘Perili Sirk’ (2009), ‘Diğer Masallar’ (2011) en ‘Levlâ'nın Hikayesi’ (2013). Their latest single ‘Mey’ appeared recently  and is at the meantime good for more than 48.876.548 views op YouTube.
