With a brand new program and ensemble, Esra Dalfidan is back in Ghent, where she already performed at the 2015 İstanbul Ekspres Festival. With her own compositions and arrangements of lyrics from Rumi to Nazım Hikmet. From tango to waltz, from jazz to classical Ottoman music. Sometimes melancholic and nostalgic, sometimes determined and energetic, she knows how to conquer her listeners with her voice and takes them to her own musical habitat. A German-Turkish jazz singer who sets to work with her musical roots, it turns out to be an very exciting combination.
