Ender Balkır, one of the most important singers in the Turkish folk music genre in recent years, has caught the attention of the public with the songs he sang in TV series such as Ustura Kemal, Düriye'nin Güğümleri, Hanımın Çiftliği, Dila Hanım and Öyle Bir Geçer Zaman ki. His popularity increased even more with “Ruhumda Sızı”, a composition by Aşık Emrah on a text by the well-known writer Nesimi Çimen (from the TV series Çukur).
