CHRIS NOLASCO DUO ft. WOUTER VANDENABEELE

It is no secret that Brazilians and Belgians can make a musical marriage. That's what David Bovée proved with his hit Paletó.
Chris Nolasco, the former female vocalist, imports her load of percussive instruments, and comes to Belgium for a new cultural exchange, this time with Wouter Vandenabeele.
This concert will be the result of a cultural exchange project between Pernambuco, Brazil's most interesting musical region, and Ghent, Unesco City of Music!
Sitting still may not be an option, because genres such as cocô, maracatu and forró that are deeply rooted in Afro-Brazilian and colonial history, are simply no music for your lazy chair.
