Eye on Palestine: An Arts Festival Focused on Gaza and the Palestinian Struggle

Eye on Palestine is an arts festival organized by various (social) cultural partners, taking place from November 21 to December 20, 2024, in Ghent. The aim of the festival is to draw attention to the genocide in Gaza, the occupation, and its impact on Palestinian artists.

In this special edition, we focus on the consequences of the Israeli genocide in Gaza and the escalating violence by the occupation forces in the West Bank, and how this affects the work and lives of Palestinian artists and cultural organizations. The festival seeks to amplify their voices and highlight their art.

In collaboration with a wide coalition of organizations in Ghent, Eye on Palestine presents a diverse program featuring workshops, films, discussions, exhibitions, concerts, and theatre performances. Partners of the festival include: Trefpunt, VIERNULVIER, De Centrale, Splinter, Victoria Deluxe, Sphinx, Studioskoop, Mooov, KASKcinema, NTGent, Action Zoo Humain, Gents Kunstenoverleg, Festival van de Gelijkheid, Kunsthal Gent, Ha Concerts, Voem, De Koer, Labo vzw, Palestine Café Ghent, Hart Boven Hard, Cinério, Avansa, and Cinemangiare.
