The Greek singer Vasiliki starts, with this project, the encounter, with famous Greek and Turkish musicians. Together they bring refreshing interpretations of different songs from Asia Minor and the Aegean Sea. Vasiliki lives in Istanbul, where she cooperates with various ensembles as singer and songwriter. She also writes and translates poetry. Now she unites musicians with the common ,artistic vision, far from musical stereotypes.

Balkan Ekspres combines cheerful Balkan and rebetiko with immeasurable energy and modern arrangements. They serve Turkish and Greek covers, what produces sultry Mediterranean atmosphere with hints of reggae, funk, pop en folk.
As biggest surprise, the charismatic Greek bouzouki player Orhan Osman, leads everything to run smoothly.
