Samir Fighil (NL), Tutu Puoane, Mathieu Charles, Derek Otte (NL) , Ben Norris (GB) & BRZZVLL
"Nuff Said. World in motion. For over 10 years stage full of city. Between mainstream and underground, full of young talent and international names. With a serie of quality every month. Be it comedy, literature, music, spoken word, ... Each time expertly encapsulated by the jungle hazers of BRZZVLL and chef d'orchestra (and in the meantime promoted to Antwerp poet) Maud Van Hauwaert.
Samir Fighil is a comedian who, completely to his own style his own style, manages to get to his listeners time and time again, as himself or as one of his many impersonations. With a wide range of recognizable situations and refreshing jokes, he knows how to train the abdominal muscles of a very diverse and growing public.
Tutu Puoane is a jazz-singer from South Africa. In 2004 she moved to Antwerp. With the Brussels Jazz Orchestra she cooperated on the tribute project for Billie Holliday("Writing Billie") and Nina Simone ("Goddamn!).She has also shared the stage with Dré Pallemaerts en Toots Thielemans.
Derek Otte is a young Rotterdam writer, praised for his lecture art. In his début “Regeling”, Derek Otte chases the spirit of the times that often manifests itself between the lines. His second collection of poetry is on its way.
Ben Norris is a British stand-up comedian who has been on the international comedy circuit since 1993. He has performed in several popular British TV programs such as 'Mock the Week' and 'Never Mind the Buzzcocks'.
"The term circuit legend is overused, but Norris is one of a handful that have been headlining for more than two decades and rarely departs a stage without leaving it torn to shreds in his wake…" - GQ Magazine.
