Je krijgt een heerlijk gevoel van tijdloosheid bij het beluisteren van Eléonor aka zangeres Elly Aerden. Grote namen zoals Catullus, Sulpicia, Carmina Burana inspireerden haar om eeuwenoude Latijnse teksten op muziek te zetten in een melodieuze maar ingetogen mix van fado, pop, chanson en jazz…
Elly Aerden kon je al eerder horen bij Mairan, Bodixel, Amorroma, The Folklove Orchestra, The Ballroom Orchestra, Moralia, Songs of Neruda, Olla Vogala... en vorig seizoen in De Centrale tijdens de uitreiking van de Cultuurprijs Stad Gent aan Osama Abdulrasol.

Big names such as Catullus, Sulpicia, Carmina Burana inspired her to put ancient Latin texts to music in a melodic but understated mix of fado, pop, jazz and chanson…  Elly Aerden could earlier be heard in Mairan, Bodixel, Amorroma, The Folklove Orchestra, The Ballroom Orchestra, Moralia, Songs of Neruda, Olla Vogala... and last season in De Centrale during the awarding of the Culture Prize of the City of Ghent to Osama Abdulrasol.
